ISO/TC251 are Headed to Malmo

10 June 2016 – Rhys Davies

It seems like no time at all since we had our first meeting in Yokohama, Japan in November but here we are again meeting in Sweden in the summertime.

Our meeting is being hosted by Swedish Standards Institute (SIS) and TetraPak so thanks to both of them for hosting our meeting and providing the facilities.

Many of our delegates will be en route as I write and I’m sure they will be preparing hard for the work agendas that our Working Group Convenors have agreed with their teams.

If our previous meetings are anything to go by, I am sure we will achieve lots and push forward the discipline of Asset Management a little further.

Safe travels everyone and apparently the weather has been stunning in Malmo this week – let’s hope it lasts…

Final thought as we all make the journey – in Yokohama we passed the following resolution:

Resolution 10/2015-11

ISO/TC 251 resolves to have fun at its meetings, by:

a) Ensuring a convivial atmosphere

b) Engaging in social activities
